Flak has retired after 113 amazing rapid races.  He is still new to us here at AFG and we are getting to know him better.  Could drop dead gorgeous hunk be on the look out for you?

Flak is definitely a character (in a good way!). Flak is one of the happiest dogs that you will ever met. He will wag his tail in every which way (windmill, back and forth, zigzag), sometimes to his detriment as he doesn’t know how to stop or recognize who he is hitting with it. He is sweet and takes well to training and correction. He wants to do what you want him to do but also just loves EVERYTHING. A car ride, a new person, a squeak that came out of nowhere- he will be happy with all of them. He loves to be around his humans but doesn’t need to be by your side constantly. He is happy to watch what you’re doing from a bed and give you a wag when you pay him some attention.
Flak is great with the other dogs and cats and would love a cuddle buddy, whether that be a human or animal. He will come up for attention and will reward you with a giant wag if you show him some love. His affection-loving nature is fitting for a boy born on Valentine’s Day. Flak is pretty confident with other animals and new situations, although sometimes shiny floors can throw him for a loop. He gets over his fears quickly (whether it be floors or kittens) and will go back to his normal affectionate self- just wait 30 minutes and he’ll be fine.
Flak is energetic at times but will sleep for hours as well. He would love to be in the middle of things but does have an off switch. He is a pretty easy-going, affectionate, enjoyable dog to be around that will bring a smile to your face with his goofiness. If you’re looking for a big, cuddly, happy hound, Flak might be the right one for you!
