Jed just recently retired to AFG after 16 races. Due to an injury to his knee Jed will require a leash walk home. He still limps on it but that should gradually continue to improve over time. He’s a new retiree we are still learning about. Could Jed be the hound for you??
Jed is a very sweet and affectionate dog. He gives kisses and gets very excited when people come into the home or he meets people on walks. Speaking of excited Jeds tail is constantly moving. It’s a true testiment to how happy he is. He enjoys hording toys more than actually playing with them. He’ll throw a toy around for a minute, but mostly can be seen carting toys from the toy box to his bed to cuddle with them, all of them. He has a healed leg injury that he gets a joint supplement once a day for. It doesn’t really affect his everyday life. He is able to walk on it fine and even gallop slightly through the house when excited. He will try to avoid putting too much pressure on it though so he will occasionally limp or hold it up slightly. Also because of this we don’t take him to run, so that we don’t risk re-injury. He gets along well with our two hounds, and shows little to no interest in the bearded dragons. Overall Jed is a sweet, fun loving, affectionate boy.
