Mel has headed into retirement with 2 races under her race collar.  She is still new to us here at AFG and we are getting to know her a little better.  Mel did injury her muscle causing her to retire early and will need a home that is leash walk only; no fence.  Her injury has not slowed her down as she is a happy loving little girl.  We have already placed her littermate: Midnight Birch in a home already.  Could this smiling lady be the one you are looking for?

Mel has been one of the sweetest and most loving fosters we’ve been lucky to have. At times she can be a little reserved, but once she sees a little bit of attention her tail tends to keep wagging. Whether it’s from kisses, her alligator snapping, or constant tail wagging she has a lot of love to give. She has done great with our pack and enjoys playing with her toys and the other hounds. She’s blended in well with our home and has been a joy to have.
